If possible, a replacement thermistor should always be sourced from the gauge manufacturer or their supplier.īut I also did a lot of research on the the Take Off adaptor to mount the sender in. In the hunt for a replacement, I learned a lot. Interestingly enough, the original sender that came with my gauge was defective. And all thermistors are not created the same. This is ultra important because that sender is a thermistor which is a variable resistance device that varies with temperature. The gauge is supplies WITH the proper sender.
